Reminds me of Mahrez - he’s not scored an average goal yet. Except Mahrez speaks better English than him.

The lad held his own out there and didn't look out of place in the squad. Fill in nicely for Mahrez and more now Ferran as fucked off.

In the interview he looked nowt but a bairn with his little zit in his chin.

Be so chuffed if he stays and becomes another great from the Academy.
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

I noticed how quick he is over first 5 yards, also how fast he switches from one foot to the other, very skilful player Good future ahead for him I think, not very good at interviews yet, but that will improve with age.

Even if he doesn’t make it with us, he’ll get us a good chunk of money. And that’s because we’ve given him the chance and he’s impressed.

Should have said when asked about his assist and goal "get the fuck in"

And one of the reasons why I think we could be better at giving minutes to these young lads in games which are won at 85 minutes instead of bringing Fern on or other such players for arguments sake.

They become more prominent and noticed so when we sell we get better money

In all the times over the last season or two I've seen him the best compliment is he doesn't look out of place. He knows his role and what's expected of him and he doesn't seem to let the occasion get the better of him.

This of course comes from playing with the first team squad in training and understanding and perfecting our style of play.

Agree 100% Nacho is the perfect example of that. Was brought on with 10 mins to go a few times and got some goals. We ended up getting £25m for him! When we’re smashing teams by three or four it will do no harm bringing on a kid for 10 minutes.

so refreshing to see a winger willing to take on his marker instead of passing backwards like most of ours do.

I was thinking a while back about this. Should it be about money?
Many players have appearance bonuses that they receive if they reach a certain number. Maybe is Pep repaying them for their loyalty?

Quite possibly players have a certain number of appearances they must make for contractual reasons. If so then that could be to the detriment of the club finances if it stops other players from getting a game.

Could be the reason why Pep picked Mendy to play every now and then. Can’t think of another reason why.

Palmer is ready now for the first team - anyone with good eyesight can see that .
His movement , both feet , are exemplary and there are only few players who could have placed that ball into the far corner of the net like he did .

Jesús Gabriel should be well behind him in the pecking order .
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"
