To be fair I love winning the charity shield and do consider that a trophy.

But fuck liverpool and Klopp has definitely under achieved.
Tracking back is overrated.

when the winners and only the winners of two cup tournaments get invited to a big pay day and the winner of that game is given a Cup. It can hardly be called Trophy . By invitation only means it doesn't count. Just like the Charity shield really doesn't count.

I think it's pretty evident these competitions are total horseshit.

A poll would be quite funny though

Pep has won two Community shields, Klopp has won the two Fifa and Uefa equivalents. Whether you count them or not, Pep is still 6 major trophies ahead of Klopp during their time in the Epl or to put it another way, Pep won more in one season at City than Klopp has in his time at the dippers.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Spot on.

Carragher started the debate by referencing the fact that klopp has won 2 trophies with liverpool.

That's coming from Jamie fucking Carragher. Even Aldridge wouldn't stoop as low as to count these pointless pots as trophies.

That's the definition of today's comp, with UEFA and FIFA taking them to different countries that pay more money.
I would add the Shield as trophies Pepinho won, even if they don't even come close to those two, if you ask me. A trophy is a trophy, even if The feeling is in that in the Shield teams play a lot of reserves. You did not see that in the past in those two comp I've mentioned. I think even today they play their best sides and do it to win it.
The League Cup is another example, outside England there isn't one, I think only the French have it? The rest don't care about it. Don't know if the french still do, to be fair.
In the current situation, the tradition and historic importance of the League Cup makes it a big trophy, same with those two. They have an historic importance, but if you ask someone from Germany, Spain, they might not consider it such a big trophy, but would with the other two.

Aldridge?
The very worst dipper. He would count finals they had lost and argue about defeats in a semi

^^^^^^

The purpose of the Charity Shield is to generate money for Charity . The thank you trophy you get for winning it is not seen as a competiton win . It is a recognition of helping charities and kicks off the season .

The programme for the 2019 Community Shield had a City and Liverpool fan arm-in-arm walking up Wembley Way, that's how much of a friendly it is. Laughable idea though.
After the ball was centred, after the whistle blew...

Taylor Harwood-Bellis starts for stoke today, as does SWP's son. I'll probably watch it for a bit and see how they do.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

Stoke have just got Jagieka on a free as well. Not a bad player for THB to learn from.

The Charity was not the discussion.
You should stay on motor sounds. Maybe you create a poll on that.
