It was a strange statement but it seemed like he was after the interviewer after his opening questions.

More of Peps press bullshit. Give them nothing especially if they ask bone stupid question

He’s influenced by Grealish , IMO .
He’s certainly gone backwards although he still produced a match winning pass to “I shit myself in front of goal” Sterling.

I’ve just watched the interview and I didn’t like it. Reminded me of Klopp getting annoyed with Shreeves and just spitting his dummy out.

A simple question was asked and Pep set the interviewer up with the “one of the best performances of the season” comment. That’s why he was asked, “Really?” I’d have asked the same.

I’m glad Pep is angry with the performance, no matter what he’s said to the cameras. You could tell he was pissed off and that’s good. Hope some of the players got it in the changing room.

I was at a family gathering all yesterday so no time for football, but from what I have read Saints put in a tactical masterclass and deserved their point, oh and the title race is back on because all dippers have to do is win their games in hand, beat City at the Etihad and they are only three behind. Wasn't he saying it was the best an opponent had played against us this season? Sure he clarifies it when the interviewer asked him the question again?

We don't like it but the fact is yesterday we were nowhere near the level of performance needed to overcome both.

Agree with this and that is why IMO Pep's achievements are incredible. Klopp and Rags have to overcome the opposition and the cheating dice loaded in their favor (as it was with SAF).
Yesterday's Rags match with WH being typical. Actually since Rag Ralf took over the Rags have been the beneficiaries of a lot of 'close' calls.
If we were Liverpool or Rags yesterday we would have been helped by VAR, a red card or a penalty, etc... That is all it takes to swing a result.
It is easy to rant but I say look at Liverpool's game later today. Watch Robertson. He is like 007, he has a license to kill. Then if Liverpool are struggling watch the soft frees they get, etc...

As sheblue states, this is our reality and we need to beat two opponents every game. As I said in other posts, why is it a bad thing for City to win PL when it was a good thing for the Rags to win them i.e. 11 out of the first 15 or something like that?
Subscriptions generated by the largest global fan base is why I.e. money. The irony is that now we are told that little (no global fan base) old City's oil money is ruining the game.

No mate.

Pep - “We made one of the best performances of the season”
Shocked Interviewer - “Really? That good?”
Pep - long angry pause…………………..
Interview - “you thought it was one of your best performances of the season?”
Angry Pep - “By far”

This made me chuckle;

Anyone know when Sterling is releasing his 'worst misses in PL history DVD'? He adds new content every week

According to the Southampton manager, Grealish waited for one of their players in the tunnel. I like that. Pep won’t though.

I’m surprised Laporte didn’t wait in the tunnel as well .

Shocking officiating .

We can blame officials, VAR, corruption etc...all valid points. What we needed yesterday Is an Aguero in his prime, those type of games makes the difference. We didn't have a focal point to bully their defence.

I saw that joke that was running these days: some clubs retire numbers of great players, Sergio retired the whole striker position for us.

Really can't argue with that.
