Anyone seen the video of Pickford at the same event where a Liverpool fan (again without a scouse accent) says, “Are Everton getting relegated?” and Pickford pretends he can’t hear and asks him to repeat it about three times, then calls the guy a parrot

How do you know it's a Liverpool fan?
They never do that. It's never their fault.

As Pickford walks off the mutant recording shouts “Liverpool!”

No saw one though of some complete bellend having a go at Noel Gallagher, Gallagher responded why he bothered to be engaged with such a brain dead cretin is a mystery, he should have just totally ignored him and walked away. Giving these people the slightest bit of attention is a never a good idea.
Fodens mother should have just slammed the door shut, as I am sure her jaw will testify to.

What I'd like to know is whether celebrities have always had to put up with this, or if the age of social media has meant people are ready with a camera to goad celebrities in order to get their own five minutes of fame, or if it's a mix of both? The fact a camera was taken out to film the whole thing suggests there was some intent to hopefully get the footage 'out there' if there was any reaction. And with it happening to (at least) three different celebrities (Foden, Pickford and Gallagher) at the same event, it's all a bit weird/uncomfortable for me.

Phil has Pep, he can trust him as he has been a local lad playing for the team he supported. I think a blip in form is normal and with the club we have behind him just a blip.

I don’t think he’s been as average as some are making him out to be .
He’s playing in a thankless position for the manager - he’s actually been above average this season IMO ,albeit not lighting up the world as we expect him to , he’s played alright if I’m being honest .
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

And that is the crux of the thread and the debate. Alright simply isnt good enough for both our standards and his own. He should be tearing teams apart if he had kept on his trajectory from the last few years. The fact he has flat lined at best is the point of discussion. Is this now where he is at. Or is there more in the tank to give?

The thing is his bar is high. Class act will be fine, big end of season needed.

He is playing well, but as Notts said, he's not the type of player who should be playing well. He should be honing his craft and improving.
I do agree with Carl (that has actually happened one or twice over the last 20 years or so) in that pep is playing him out of position, or at least moving him around during a game.
This could give him more weapons in the long run, or it could hold him back.
I honestly don't know, I suppose only time will tell, but there's been a few top notch players pep has done this too and they seem to have turned out alright

Playing out of position
Jack Grealish
The boy is hugely talented but he needs to concentrate on the football. Pep will give him every opportunity and all the support he needs but the off- field stuff is on him to sort
