Let's not see this signing be tainted by other events of the day.

I’m guessing this means Haaland is a no go then.

I guess he's off to Bayern for about 50 mill, because BVB owe the munches so much in favours. Feel sorry for young Haaland. His Dad and the Slug ( good name for a punk band that), really sold him up the swanee.

I agree. I can see him ending up at Bayern.

Read that WHU are pushing for Nunez, so in this case, can't see us having other alternatives.
I would be surprise if we will put everything into Alvarez.

Since our owners bought us, we have built a number of teams that have continuously evolved, always giving us a good balance of youth, experience and always a solid core of quality.

When we bought Sterling, he becameyet another 'One for the future'. He was immersed into a team already settled.

I see the current crop of new players as City planning for our next phase. I see no reason why Alvarez can't be brought in alongside some one like Haarland.

We lost both Aguero and Torres. We need 2 top class players to replace them.

Torres wasn't a top player imo but I’ll guarantee this Alvarez fits in perfectly so no need to spend stupid money on a Kane or a haaland priced player .

How about we sign a fucking left back ? It was a great idea 4 fucking years ago and it’s still a great idea now .

I find myself agreeing with you Mate...summat must be wrong with the World. :-)

We seem to have at least 2 players for every other position, sometimes more when you consider players rotating positions even during a match.
But for the life of me, I can't honestly remember the last time we had a World class dedicated left back.

It seems to be a problem that preceeded Pep and one that maybe Txiki should have been sorting years ago.
Surely there can't be a shortage of global left footed full backs.

I think it was probably Willie Donachie.

report on City site confirms coming to the Etihad in July.
As most player contracts begin and end in July, it maybe the reason
