The one we need to land in my opinion. Hope this is true.

If we manage to pull this off I think it will convince Pep to extend. So it could be a huge deal for us.

A summer where we get Haaland, the red shit don't get chumps league and ronaldo flouncing off. What's not to like? I think that would tip the red shit over the edge and we would be back seeing them breaking into the swamp

Probably something that has been leaked though just to get Barca and Real to increase their offer.

In the extremely unlikely event this move works out I hope the thread title will be suitably capitalized. Anyway the story has moved on in Spain

Could well be the case. The issue that pair have though is they are on their arses financially and no chance that the Spanish government can bail them out this time.

It’s never meant anything though mate. Barca have still spent and spent. Look at this January they got Torres when apparently they still owed us (and other clubs I’d imagine) money from previous transfers. They’ve also just got their Spotify deal.

That's on us though isn't it? If we are stupid enough to let them have Torres on catalogue terms on top of already owing us for previous deals. I still think it is us or the German rags who are the likeliest destinations. If it were next year, then Spain may have been an option for him

how many times have we seen this….personal terms agreed, player wants to come, deal imminent…and then he goes elsewhere. *yawn*

Totally bored by all of this, Haaland stands up, Haaland sits down, Haaland scratches himself, Haaland wears sky blue jocks........

I think he would be an excellent signing, but the amount of BS being talked about it is OTT and nobody has a clue about the internal workings of this transfer.

The more I hear about this signing and the terms being bandied about, the less I want it to happen

I dont fully subscribe to the view he will instantly walk into our side and score like he has for Dortmund. The Bundesliga isn't as competitive as the PL and I also have doubts about his injury record

True but it's a statement signing, the kind of signing will deflate the opposition

I do get what you are saying but even if he scores one in every two (half his current yield) in conjunction with our other scorers I think I could live with that and also it would smart me if he went elsewhere and carried on as he is.

Grealish was a statement signing mate.

Wouldn’t go to anyone else in the PL though. Isn’t as if he’d go to the rags or dippers and tear it up

It's pretty much that Barca haven't got a pot to pee in, Barca and Real aren't very good and his dad used to play for us. So I can see it happening

To be honest, I am really tired of a new transfer saga.

All the while German rags keep quiet
