There shouldn’t have been a minutes silence anyway. It’s pathetic.

You stormed the turnstiles and killed your own. Proper vermin

As an outsider, I feel they are milking this every year.

What happened there is an absolute tragedy, something that should never happen on a football pitch, but they don't talk about Heysel as much as this, like that episode never happened.

This only matters to Liverpool...Unlike Munich, Bradford Fire etc and any other tragic accident, Hillsborough was self inflicted.
It should have been done at Anfield, but something tells me that they get some perverse joy out of other fans disrespecting, as it paints them as the victims even more...Oh and How they LOVE being victims..

I want to ask something, again, as an outsider:
I've always felt that they "used" that tragedy to make people forget about Heysel. Is that possible?

The problem with remembering Heysel, is that the normal season is over . no games to have one minutes silence .

For example , if Scouse2 were to meet Juventus again in a CL Final , you would expect them to observe a minutes silence .

Or another riot !

Have any other club fans been responsible for not 1 but 2 lots of multiple crowd fatalities and injuries?

Nonsense, you can not expect a crowd of 90 plus thousand to all be aware of what is going on .

City had no need to say anything until scouse2 make a complaint . Then go and tell those woke idiots to unglue their hand from the cash tills.

Rangers in 1902 and 1971..The first was a stand collapse leading to 25 deaths, and in 1971 66 died in a crush at an Old Firm game.
I think it is largely unmentioned, and left in a dignified way

If we cannot, for one minute, shut the fuck up and pay tribute for the loss of 98 human lives lost at a football match as we would expect if it was our fans who were killed, then I despair……I was ashamed of our fans behaviour and it will have served as a boost to Liverpool……and so it proved. Some of the comments above I find appalling……
