Quite a few rested for Tuesday. Bernardo, Gundogan Mahrez. Ake may well play then too. God knows who plays RB if Stones isn’t fit then. Not in the squad today.

What the fuck is that?!

Should be enough to beat Watford but Pep’s worrying me.

Bernardo and Gundogan were running on empty. He had to rest them. Real Madrid have a free weekend because La Liga wants them to win the CL. Fernandinho can be adventurous and Cancelo will really play midfield.

If we’re going to just put 50 year olds in why not throw McAtee in there instead?

Palmer is an obvious choice
Ake at LB, Zinchenko in midfield

Plus it’s Watford. At home. How good are they going to be?

One of the reasons why we struggle when we have injuries is we don’t have enough experience in the young lads for Pep to trust them and give them a chance. Well, you don’t get that experience without playing and it’s this type of game which is ideal for it

No. He should be. And have been in a few more squads these last 6 months as well. Gaining match day experience and a few minutes here and there

I thought Palmer might have been given a chance today

Didn't he win the league last night?

Palmer has been class when hes come on and considering he normally only gets about '5 seconds' of playing time each times he come on he has shown he can fit in so easily.

I don’t think McAtee should start ahead of Rodri or Fernandinho. I suspect Pep would have liked to rest Kevin too but can’t. If the match allows I’m sure he’ll be off at some point in the second half. The big worry is both Stones and Walker potentially out for Tuesday together with Cancelo’s suspension. This team is good enough to take care of Watford or it should be.

Palmer played 10 minutes for the first team and then played for the EDS the same day.

You know Pep. He won't experiment when we need points. And tbf imagine how slaughtered he would be if we didn't win and he'd done that with 1 or 2

Well Fern i guess will be further fwd - Gundo role.
That front 3 are light on goals, if i had a concern that is where it would be.
Should be enough. v Watford.
Palmer likely to come on for Fern i would think at some point if we are ahead.
