Season before, 1st leg before lockdown. 2nd leg after the restart.. He scored home and away and tore Verane apart.

Nothing in the media about this ……..
Real Madrid have sent back nearly two thirds of their allocation for the the 1st leg at the Etihad Stadium Manchester. So just there 1800 attending fans will be located in the top tier of the south stand while now MCFC home fans will locate all of south stand 1&2 levels .

Imagine if that was us !?!?!?

Again, I am worried that romanian prick is in charge vs Madrid.
He was okish with Atleti, but knowing him, I expect him to do something.

Walker and Stones look to be injured, Ake has a sore ankle but played part of the game with it on Saturday, so might play again? Right back is the big unknown? Several options have been put forward Jesus, Egan-Riley or Ferny in defence? It's going to be a potential weakness whoever, you would imagine with both first choice Right backs out, and their speedy wingers. Don't know about "no brainfarts" we are going to need a bit of creative thinking from Pep for this one. We looked vulnerable in defence against Watford, we are going to have to play exceptionally well to keep them out. Cancelo will be back for the away leg next week.

Pep mused about playing Jesus at Right Back. Vinicius jnr plays on the left and will be a real threat. This problem can’t be wished away by talk of over thinking or brain farts. It’s not ideal. We can only pray that Walker can be got through the game with pain killers but then he is risked for the rest of the season. Very unlucky but it’s where we are.

This game is not for a 'not fully fit ' walker...his speed is everything.
Fuck knows how PeP's set up will be.

Not many options, we are going to have to just try and squeak through this one, double up with maybe Jesus on the right helping out whoever the fuck we put in as RB.

Back 4 could be Stones, Laporte, Dias, Ake.

Not sure I would be getting overly excited as Jesus as an orthodox right back.
Maybe, just maybe as a right wing back ahead of a back 3 of Stones Dias and Laporte, with Zinny left wing.
Hardly the best time for experiments now is it.

This copied off beeb feed, our leader speaks about the Real game

City
Pushed on injury news, Pep Guardiola confirms Kyle Walker and John Stones are doubts.

"They didn't train last week, ten days, John since Brighton. We will see how they feel, and make a decision tomorrow."

'Playing Real is an incredible test'
Man City v Real Madrid (Tues, 20:00 BST)

Manchester City
Here's more from Pep Guardiola on whether he can count on the backing of the fans:

"I'm sure they will come and support us unconditionally. They'll do their best, hopefully we do our best to bring them close to us."

On team news:

"We have a training session today and we will see how the players are. Tonight, tomorrow, to decide the line up. I will wait for the training session to see how they feel. I'm sure players will play in positions they aren't used but they will do their best."

On taking on 13-times champions Real Madrid:

"Their History speaks for itself. We have the desire to compete against them. For us playing against them is an incredible test and we want to try it Suffer when we suffer, stick together. Try to do as best as possible.

"It would be the same against Bayern or Barcelona. They are a team many times in this position. in the last decade we almost never here and now we are, which is good. Reaching the final will be a good lesson for us that's for sure."

Would be great to announce Haaland right before kick off. He’s chosen City over Real - HAVE THAT!!

Weirdly enough, I don't expect tactical brainfarts versus Madrid.

He hates them too much

Keep the rest of the team the same and play young Egan-Riley, Pep. You know minimal disruption makes sense.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.
