He seems the same if you ask me, just his distribution went a bit to shit lately his passing that puts our boys under pressure.
Sparklehorse wrote:I don’t think Ederson was to blame for anything last night. We have conceded the fewest goals in the PL……enough said. He cannot save everything, and yes there were a few dodgy moments last night when the ball was at his feet, a goalie is always going to have that kind of game where things don't quite go right, but RM didn't gain any advantage from his couple of errors. He was not at fault for their first goal, that was just outstanding finishing. Their second goal was stoppable if Laporte had done the right thing and gone across to cover, instead he just inexplicably let him through without challenge. And the penalty, well, what can you say……..I think if VAR had properly assessed that it would never have been given, it was purely accidental and we gained no advantage. Ederson went a little early from the spot kick, a slight criticism. I, personally am not worried about his form. Tarry all that with the amount of times we carved them open we should have been out of sight, we are now left with a very difficult task next week….if we play to our best we will beat them.
Outcast wrote:All goalkeepers go through mid career crisis, not long ago Allison was horrific and yet still lauded as one of the best. We shouldn't throw him under the bus, he'll come good eventually. Yes he deserves some flak but dropping him will knock his confidence, the alternatives are no near to his level, not many out there are! One of the best in the world.
To be fair to him, goal keepers need a consistent back 4, through rotation and injuries he's not had the consistency in front of him.

We don't need to look further than Bazunu for a longer term replacement. He is class.

There was a lot of people at fault for the goals conceded last night- Stones and Zinch 1st goal, Fern and Laporte 2nd goal, 3rd goal was a really harsh pen but Foden lost the ball and gave a stupid free kick in the process which led to the pen.
Ederson wasn't at fault for any, their 1st 2 goals were fabulous finishes
