I read a while ago that it was supposed to be before we go on tour.

On this note - am I imagining it, or did we do one kit launch while the team was abroad for pre-season? Possibly in the Umbro (or first couple of years of Nike) days...
(I just looked over our fixtures, and it might have been one of the 2014/15 ones, when we played Al-Ain in Abu Dhabi after the 13/14 season ended.)

Same here in Marbella/Puerto Banus, top of the pile that every looky looky doing footie shirts.

And now already with Haaland and 9 on the back, kids of all nationalities wearing City shirts everywhere you look, ala Messi......

When i first started coming here 18 years ago, i was the only City shirt wearing person around.

Back then i'd get, ahhh City my second club, proper football team blah blah blah...

That said 4 strapping young lads asked me for directions the other day and one noticed City polo shirt "Haaland, Haaland, Haaland..... WE Are City, All Norge are City"

Said it earlier in the year . Went to Prague with the wife for my birthday in April . Found a cracking sports bar to watch the 2nd leg UCL QF v Atletico . One room full of city fans even split between German and Czech Republic “city fans “ and a just a couple proper Manc city fans . Other room which was showing dippers game just about half a dozen of half wits including some thick as fuck Irish “dippers “ with ancient dippers shirts on . Was an eye opener , the German “city” fans very knowledgeable and top lads . Czech fans bigger piss heads than the city faithful absolutely epic goings on , top night !

I've just seen a post on Facebook (I know it's not the most viable source, but still) that implies the fans' versions have a plain black back, but the player spec ones (also available from the club shop, but pricier) have a 'half-n-half' back like this...

I don't think I've ever seen fans and authentic versions with such massive differences before.
