I cant really add anything about this game that’s not already been said in the PL Games thread. There is a lot of bickering between members on the match thread, so these comments are the best I can get. I’m off to join the Toon Army for a few hours

Can see a backs to the wall ugly draw. It's bonus territory for us, any result would be good. Conversely the only bad result would be a heavy loss.
Watching City against Real Madrid the other night was frightening to be quite honest. They scored four against one of the best teams in the world and quite frankly should have had seven and be looking at a comfortable second leg. As it stands, it's right in the balance and that definitely does us a favour, if only a small one. PG will want to rest some of his players although Sterling, Grealish and Gundogan are all likely to start against us as well as Cancelo. I expect others such as Ake and that horrible fucker Fernandinho will also start. In all honesty playing them at home sandwiched between their two CL semis is the best we could have hoped for.
Oh jeez i hope he doesn't get 3-0 up and then just use it as a training session and ease off on the gas, that's a total pizz take that is. Don't do that Pep please it's not fair on the paying fans.
I reckon he’ll stick with James up top hoping to get him behind their high line with a long ball or six. Problem is, can he take any chances offered him? Can’t say I’m confident if he does get a one on one.
I'd take a draw now, predicted a 2-2 score.
Foden, Mahrez, and Silva will not play the full 90 minutes against us, but one or more of them will get some minutes. Pep will instead choose Grealish and Sterling, with Gundogan and Rodri, and perhaps KdB. Plenty good enough to steamroll us and being a different team to that against Real, may not feel the pressure as much as players playing multiple games. If we get anything, I'd be happy. As the Square Ball lads said, if City win 6-3, at least we will have seen plenty of goals and given them a game.
Oh Jeez yes Pep could do that and probably best way to go about it, put out his best for 45, then fresh legs and new faces for 2nd 45 thus bamboozling head scratching Jesse, keeps all fresh for RM on Wednesday night and another classic to look forward to.
Just hope we get through this with no more injuries nor any suspensions. Seeing Jesse seems to average killing one player a week we should be OK.
There is always hope of a result. But they would need an off day of gigantic proportions to not win. Whilst Pep might not start the big guns they will be on the bench just in case. Regardless of the suggested intent from Marsch I just doubt we will see much of the ball. James breaking their back line or a set piece are our glimmers of hope, but we will need to convert whatever chance comes our way.
Who'd have thought, when we were lurking in the championship/league one not long ago, we'd be watching the best players in Europe. Looking forward to the game & the atmosphere, this season I've attended our games in trepidation, not the case tomorrow even though we need the points.
If we could just get something, even a point, it would put real pressure on Everton going into their game with Chelsea.
How to beat Man City…Our best chance is a Pep brain fart.
Both the Racing Post & Sporting Life tipsters suggesting Citeh will sweep us aside tomorrow, as they have done with all the riff raff at the shitty end of the table. Nothing to lose. Goal difference is unimportant (smiley face) so have a go and to hell with the outcome.
