Looks like he’ll fit right in at Chelsea

I am not upset he went there. Sure he could have said he only wanted City, but he took his chance.

Still has biggers balls than Arry.

Bullet dodged. More than Mendy and just as bad at defending and worse going forward!

At least it was only £15m wasted on Gomez, we can recoup that.

If we could sort that left back / wingback role out we could rule europe. I don't understand how we still have not resolved this area

Whoever let Kolarov leave needs shooting.

Agreed. Noted this in the match thread about a bullet dodged. Even Cancelo had the better of him and maybe Pep thought he'd be the weak link so had Walker and Cancelo on him.

Think the issue with full backs is at top level clubs they are increasingly being coached from an early age more in the attacking aspect of the role rather than the defensive side.

Which is exactly the point I keep making when Cancelo is being slagged for his defensive shortfalls.
Full backs in top sides are primarily wingers.

Imagine what this team under pep could have done or could do in the future if it actually had a bona fida left back. Like a left footed version of walker.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before he got injured that's what Mendy was looking like being. Obviously turned out totally different but it did look good for a short period.

Yes he did look really good initially.
Then he started his Shark nonsense, got injured and the rest is history.

I dissected Mendy’s performance against Liverpool on here before he got injured and he was terrible. Out of position three times giving them good chances. His injury didn’t help but he’s never looked good for City.
