In all the excitement I nearly forgot about the play off final, who do we want to win? Last time I saw City play Huddersfield we won 10 - 1 anybody remember that. I suppose @nottsblue will want Forest to win, they probably would be better equipped to deal with the PL than Huddersfield, anyway at least there is a game on today, will miss the football, roll on next season

Forest.
I have a soft spot for them. They were the first English team I've ever seen.

The last time I watched Huddersfield we won 10-1 it was also the first time I watched City. Was in the away end Maine Road. Was the start of my falling in love with City.

Aye, will be cheering on Forest today HDS

Another well supported but incredibly poorly run club over the last decade. Decent fans in the main

Think Forest will do it. Since Cooper took over no side had more points or wins than Forest so they are in good form

3-2 to the tricky trees

18-30s holiday August 1984, Athens beach area. Hotel owner took us in a minibus to see Europe champions Forest play a friendly against Panthanaikos. 2-2 I think, though memories of that fortnight are somewhat hazy

How did get to go on an 18-30 in 84?

You told us you remember City playing at Hyde Road!

To be fair there were a couple of blokes pushing 30, which we thought was pushing it a bit! I was 24 and if I drank now what I drank in those days I'd be dead in a week!

We only went to the game because if we got back to base by 11pm we still had a good 6 hours in the bars

I had a look on the BBC HYS after the game last night and there were people giving the vermins grief about booing the anthem. There were scouse replies saying "have you bothered to find out why".

So I did, and it's untrue.

They think the tories are victimising them, and have decided the queen as head of state should be doing something about it.

This is an article by one of them, you wouldn't believe it was serious if didn't know what they're like.

So I'm an even older bugger than you.
Know what you mean about the drinking though, that's all I did from about 16 to 30.

Fuck me standing, we go from booing the Queen and William to a narrative that Marx and Engels could have written, I am no royalist, however there is such a thing called respect for other people’s beliefs, sadly this is little seen in this day and age. Slightly changing the subject, my wife asked me if everyone on miseryside haven’t got money for food, how is it they can pay thousands to go to a football game, I did not have a answer to that.

Thought they were both pens.
Worst play off final I've ever seen though, both teams are shocking
