Great that we are playing the murdering cunts in their home relatively early and we have them at home near the end of the season.

At least it allows Scouse2 to say they are top of the league overtaking the Arse on day one of the first PL weekend, before we jump to the top for the season.

West Ham away, tricky enough start. Otherwise not too bad.

Liverpool have all of the other traditional top 6 sides away in their first fixture: Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal and MU. All 4 away matches played by November 5th. All out of the way before teams become really settled on their best 11.

So from the 5th November to season ending Liverpool have no away game against a traditional top 6 side (except for us). All of them at Klanfield, were the 'magic' happens (VAR).

I think that is an advantage for Liverpool.

Or they don't win the away games and are playing catch up

^^^^ somehow i think it will be beyond scouse2 to catch up.

They are falling apart and ageing, whilst top players want away for more money.

I like this scenario a lot. They are super good at playing catch-up.

Liverpool are losing one of their best front three and replacing him with what so far is a Benfica one season wonder carrying a hefty price tag. Bring it on.

Not a great start for the second season running. When will our international players be fit and flying? Doubtful by July 30. Hopefully the following weekend. Hopefully.

Wouldn't worry about it. They will be giving us a guard of honour when we play them at home early April. ;)

That’s the point I was making, Hopefully our international players will be fit and flying for the West Ham match. An easy home fixture would probably have been better that weekend but it is what is.
