I am sad he went, not gonna lie.

I think it shows how much we love them and how happy they made us.
Even if they drove us mental at times.

Great lads, just not good enough to make it with us, but good enough to have decent careers at lower clubs, such as Arsenal, Southampton, Man Utd etc.
Arsenal is his real level.

Ah just trying to be truthful, not anyway cruel.
Anyway the best of luck to him, he leaves on very good terms.

Spot on Sheblue. Scored some important goals, always puts in a shift, but never a true goalscorer and not improved one bit since the day he came - which is probably the most strange thing.

won the ball on the half way line , created the attack , received a pass and scored a cracker early today . Good Lad Jesus, wish him well.

Against German second division. Probably League 1 standard.

Whatever standard they are, Arse were 2-0 down when Jesus came on and won 5-2.

Whilst true Carl. What you are reading are comments from City fans who wish ex players well . Unlike the dross over at Rags or scouse2 for example always booing ex players during games.

I don't know how it became this way , i don't recall anyone booing Franny for example when he left us.

So true Andy Morrison said it. Most become blues for life. Michael Brown played the end of the league 2 season in a right boot 2 sizes up his ankle was that bad, how fans give him stick he has never understood. Jesus worked his tripe off respect.

Yep, Arteta made 4 changes, Jesus being one of them. Good luck to him - Arsenal fans have said “he essentially scored 4 goals because he forced 2 own goals as well”

Gabriel Jesus (Arsenal): "There was a game vs. PSG - Paris Saint-Germain at home, Pep Guardiola puts Oleksandr Zinchenko as a false-nine. Crazy. The day before, he didn't even put Zinchenko there in training, he put me at striker. Then the other day, Zinchenko even joked with me, 'That day I felt bad for you'!"
“Two hours before the game, there's a team-talk, the team eats, rests and goes. He gave the team, I didn't even eat. I went crying, I called my mother, 'I want to leave'. I'm going home, because he put him on and not me. He put a left-back there. I went crazy!"
"I didn't warm up. I wouldn't, with a cool head, I wouldn't. I stayed. I was bad. The game turned 0-0. With five minutes, Mbappé scored, 1-0. Pep Guardiola called me. I gave an assist and scored, we turned it 2-1."
"In the other game, I thought I was going to play. I didn't. There was a lot of that with him, it's not easy. But the player evolves. It is really hard. That's where I decided, I didn't want to stay anymore. And I decided to leave Manchester City!"

Is he a fuckin retard? The game he’s on about Zinch played left of a three midfield, to help Cancelo with Mbappe.

The false 9 was Bernardo with Mahrez to the right and Sterling to the left.

Rang his mum crying ffs  Sounds like someone that is absolutely devastated they left a team that won the Treble this season and that he could have been part of, but they don’t want to accept their own decision and is looking for excuses.

Or that Pep realized he wasn't good enough and told him to leave?

But yeah, very odd statement.

It was also November wasn't it? If he'd not decided to leave and instead fought and improved he would have nothing to cry about.

I am grateful that he scored some important goals for us - the one at Southampton for 100 points and his two v Real Madrid immediately spring to mind - but do we miss him?

Move on, Gabby lad. Life's far too short.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.
