It's normal, the only thing I think we did wrong was not trying to sell a player each summer.
We are at the end of a cycle. These guys won around 70% of all English Trophies in the past 5 years. It's hard to motivate yourself to do it again after you just did it.

That's why it is so hard to retain a title.

Imho, many of them earned their rights to move along. Bernie's decision is purely based on his missus, if you ask me.

Add to that the likes of Palmer and mc atee playing more. Grealish will be better this season, cover for Rodri, and hopefully a new LB. Really we're fine. Relax.

Agree with this. We have freshened up the squad which was necessary and improved our attacking options. Cover for Rodders was also key although Phillips is going to take time understanding how we want him to plsy. CB and LB still a concern. Reading this morning that Farca are still making the eyes of the cow at Laporte whilst admitting that they cannit afford Kounde from Sevilla. Would not surprise me to see Laporte go but I think that will be next summer along with Bernie. Get that LB sorted and let's crack on

We should tell her to go and get us £100m from a club and then we’ll sell. If she can’t find a club that’s willing to give us £100m for him then stfu and let him continue HIS career while she does fuck all, all day.

You want to get a grip Johnny you are making Carl look like a happy clapper. If Bernie really wants out he can fuck off too. Plenty of players out there.

It'll be fine

Bernardo says he’ll always give his best while he’s here. He’s going nowhere this season. If he won’t extend ( I hope he does) he may well move next season but no doubt the Club are factoring that in to their planning. No trouble. Chill. Hopefully we’ll get Cucurella and it will be a great window.

A bit gloomy, but Johnny's got a point. Both Kev and Gundo are old(ish) and Bernardo wants out. And we still don't know if Foden and/or Grealish can slot in to fill the central midfield places when they go. We should be more than fine for this season, though. And with the fire power we got now, we could basically do a Liverpool and play Rodri and Phillips as our two midfielders and just get the ball to the top 4 as quickly as posssible.

I'm in this camp too concerning the squad. Hopefully it's not too many at once though. AND hopefully we know what we're doing concerning leftback.

just read what the most intelligent player at the club had to say when he signed his new deal earlier this month.

“Joining City in 2019 is the best decision I have made in my career,” the Spain international said. “I have loved every second. The fans have been amazing with me, I feel totally supported by the club and the manager pushes me every single day.

“I have improved so much as a player, and I want to thank Pep and all the backroom staff for their help. They are completely committed to helping me become the best player I can be, and I appreciate their hard work.

“We have been very successful since I came here, which is something that makes me very proud. But to be honest, that success has made me even more hungry for me. Once you start winning big titles, you don’t want to stop.

City, I feel, offers me the best chance of winning trophies and that’s why I am so pleased to be staying here for longer.

i am not worried.

This season will still be very odd with the WC.
No idea when we are going to go full force, but I expect somewhere after January.

We don't have time for bedding in if we want to win the PL. 90+ points are required. No margin for error. Based on yesterday we will drop points early in the season so I cannot see us winning it this year. The CL is a more realistic prize this season.

Just to many changes and the old weakness at LB is still there.

Worries me that Lilo is gone, who is going to call Pep to task over the defense.
