One last big payday for his scummy agent before the new restrictions on fees come in.

Bernardo to Barca is utter fucking bullshit . Barca PR in overdrive as their plan to get half its squad registered has been quashed for the 3rd time by La Liga . This football club is in dire straits and is using any publicity to deflect its dire financial position.
Not really here

His Mrs needs to get herself out there and meet with clubs to convince them because no one apart from Barca, who can’t afford him, is interested at the moment.

Had a great start to last season but from Jan he's been distinctly average. He was shocking the last game of the season against Villa and the game changed with the introduction of Gundo.
He looked like he didn't want to be there in the Community Shield- swapped him for Gundo against West Ham who was brilliant.

Runs around a lot but always strikes me as one of those players who has periods of brilliance and periods of ineffective anonymity

Completely disagree. One of our most important players. He was overshadowed by kdb for the last few games but outside of that he had a better season imo. Rewatch the season review. Noticable he missed our lost to spurs away last season too.

So did Kev.
Kev wasn't fit first few months and Bernardo was brilliant.
Went between average and poor after that whereas Kev was fantastic and generally the big game player to turn a game.

We’ve shown we can play very well without Kev, and equally we’ll be okay without Bernardo. We can’t lose him this late in the window unless an adequate replacement is already set up, but I trust the club to do what is right for City, and for once not just what’s right for the player or Barcelona.

Can't see Bernie going this season but can next summer. I highly doubt Barcelona are able to afford his transfer fee. I think it's time we replaced him with a younger prodigy, he's getting on a bit now and I'm bored of his yearly continuos drama.

Getting silly and really distracting now. His head obviously wasn’t in it to start last Sunday. We need to stop with this softly softly approach now and tell him he needs to tell his Mrs and agent he’s staying for another season or openly say he wants to leave and find a club willing to pay the asking price. If there isn’t a club willing to do so he himself needs to move on from thinking he’s going.

I loved Bern but this is really starting to piss me off.

Agee 100% - all the noise is being created by Silva & his agent along with their accomplice Pep. I might have dreamt this but didn't our genius manager say in a PC a couple of weeks ago that Barca would find it impossible to buy Bernie? The club have now clearly briefed Martin Samuel and there is a denial of last night's "€43m agreed fee" story out there this morning but it doesn't alter the damage done to the club by these two buddies.

More of the dark arts from Farca and their lackeys. They've still got cash from remortgaging future revenue streams but are still trying to cut deals to get players out in order to register new ones
put the money on the table which is at least £80M up front and not catalogue terms or fuck off until next summer at which point we can get Bellingham or someone of equal standing

The issue with losing Bern next summer is Gundo is likely leaving as well. Two from the midfield engine at the same time…no wonder Pep hasn’t signed his contract

cannot get my head around McAtee going on loan unless he is going to play regularly. That said, if he does get a lot of game time he could come back ready to go and Phillips would have had a season to bed in here as well

I can live with him going, just this circus doing my headin. In fact I hope we flog him next summer even if he decided to stay and go all out for Bellingham, in fact we must for his age, talent and most of all to piss off the vermins.

Ps I can't stand Barcelona, dare I say they're becoming worst than the rags!
