Laporte Injured

Apparently out until Sept as he’s had surgery on his knee. No wonder we refused to let Ake go.

I still don't get it, the whole approach to our defence?
Zinch going before agreement on a replacement was agreed, down two LBs after he left, threadbare at the back before the season even starts, cost us a CL final place last year, almost cost us the league.
Despite the warning signs what do we do?
We sell one of the defenders of course and Fern another emergency stand-in retires (no replacement for that defensive position).
So we are two defenders down on last season and we were short of defenders anyway.
I really don't get it.

Totally agree with this, makes no sense, our defenders have a terrible injury record too.

We all know damm well that Pep will cover cb with either Rodders or Phillios. He has already tried Phillips there. Makes zero sense to me with our lack of cover and last seasons injury record(s)
