I wrote it on the other thread, I am convinced he was recommended by Vinnie.

He is a kid with potential.
He does not solve our problem at LB for this season.

Who would btw? We always say a player needs a year to understand how we play.
For this season we are shaky at LB and defensively, if injuries hit we are fcuked.

Signing this kid does not resolve those issues.

Unfortunately Zinch wanted to go. He was given the choice to stay but chose to leave. “Boyhood Arsenal fan” and had Arteta in his ear no doubt.

Torn on that being the situation - he always wanted game time and moves were dismissed each season. I feel like WE said look we are bringing in curly top so you will play less.

It seems to me we didn't try very hard to keep him.

If players want to stay they can stay. They have such a good deal being at City. The club treat them immensely and the fans are great.

Unfortunately you’ll always get the players that think the grass is greener and just like in any walk of life you have to let people make their own mistakes. Sanè should be a perfect example to our players, but most footballers are thick and won’t see it.

We tried to sell him to Wolves for 16M a couple of years ago but he wanted to stay. Because he's patently not good enough. Fantastic attitude, fantastic worker, but one of those players who, if you take him out of a top team, will be far more exposed and under more pressure - if playing at LB

That's fine as long as he has some positional sense

If he's shorter than Angelino he must be like Nick Nack in The Man With The Golden Gun.

Excl: Sergio Gómez to Manchester City, here we go! Verbal agreement reached with Anderlecht. Fee will be more than €10m, closer to €15m - to be signed soon. #MCFC

Sergio has good chances to be part of City team - otherwise, he will be loaned out to La Liga side Girona.
