Heard a few pundits saying, or inferring, that Haaland could be a flop. They sound scared to me.

Still a little worried about this game as we haven’t had the build-up that most have, instead looking at the long haul which will be a difficult season for all teams. To alleviate my worries, it’s been good to see that West Ham have been fairly crap in their preseason.

Come on City!

Youre right Beefy, as the week has trundled on more and more "pundits/reporters" setting Erling up for the fail from the outset.

I only tuned into footie focus for his interview with shithead shearer. The only bloke on the studio team was some nobody called Glenn

Anyway, Haaland aint going to cut it like Nunez who was the better buy....

Wanker Glenn aside, the interview was actually very good.

Yes its early days but if Erling can grab a goal or 2 it might shut the cunts in the media up. If he doesn't and we win (another goal from Julian would be nice too) i will be happy enough to be above dipper cunts.....

I take solace that he has such a great scoring record and that Pep had a wry smirk when recently interviewed, saying that he will score loads.

I’d prefer to base my opinion of a player on their previous record, along with what the best manager in the world thinks, rather than some no-mark trying to appease supporters with what they want to hear.

Let's not expect too much from any particular player this early in the season.

It's the first game we don't have to play great or score buckets of goals, we just need to get the win.
And that will do me, anything else is a bonus.
