First big test today. Quietly confident
2-0 Mahrez

Mahrez deserves to be “rotated” after last week. He was nonexistent.
Grealish left and I’d whack Alverez right with Haaland up top.

Ain’t got a clue of what to expect from Newcastle. We, and Pep, have done exceptionally well against the club, and their manager, but with the influx of players and good cheer, this could be a completely different game to what I’m expecting.

You wouldn’t bet against us but the 9 goals we scored against them in the previous 2 away games may not be seen this time.

Mahrez takes his time to settle into the season, he's a slow starter.
Definitely would like to see Alvarez start wide.
Not sure what to expect from Newcastle so I think Pep will revert to type and keep a very similar starting line up to last week.

He has looked rusty since coming back from injury to be fair. Probably the right time to give him a rest and we can then see if Stones is still a piss head or not.

Grealish has a small problem with his ankle ligament.
