Normal service resumes with Palace the visitors to the Etihad. They have a very good record against us just of late and its high time we give them a beating

Fancy 2-0 Haaland

Ake already ruled out along with Laporte - any injury updates on Grealish & Phillips?

Grealish -

As for Jack, he trained alone. He feels better, but until we train, I can’t tell you - but my feeling is he won't be ready for tomorrow.”

no news on Phillips yet - think he'll be on the bench as an ornament - quick look round the PL for ex players who might have been with him today reveals
Bazanu
Trippier Tosin Mee Zinchenko
Lavia Luiz Harrison
Sancho Sterling Jesus

ignoring old timers like Milner & Delph

My take is, 5-4 until we get balance in our midfield. Playing with 5 forwards (De Bruyne & Gundo on Haaland's shoulder) leaves our defense exposed.

Foden is a lucky boy. Imagine passing the fucking thing has been drummed into him this week

Bench is a bit weak. Let's hope we don't require it too much other than to rotate if we are winning

Yet the pundits won't mention it in leiu of the usual 'City's 1/2 billion bench' rather than highlight 'academy given chances'

Looks like we have restored balance to midfield with Bern playing.
That should restore the midfield balance and keep our defence from being exposed.
Happy with that team.

Bench has one experienced PL player.
Our squad depth is a worry.
