This is mine -

A lot of expectation! Elano turned out to be a cult hero.

Petrov and Geovanni as well.
I went to West Ham 1st game, we didn't know half the team and won 2-0.

Yeah but he didn't deliver. Elano as you say was a cult hero, Geo had a great start and scored the winner in the derby. Petrov was quality and Corluka was class, just lacked a bit of pace.

Surely the one where we got Robinho and nearly got Berbatov?
The expectation and realisation that what we were witnessing that day would change the club forever

Glauber Berti? I was there the day he played. Tear jerking and comic altogether

Kola set the standard that high for that particular transfer window the other players just couldn’t live up to him, so it was a bit disappointing.

My fav wasn’t out most successful but far the most exciting. The window where we got taken over and we were linked to every player on the planet. Nearly got Berba, did get Robinho, but I was on my computer for what seemed like 3 days refreshing news sites to see who we were going to land.
Never be a time like that again. Both because of the takeover and the advances on mobiles meaning we don’t need to sit by the PC waiting.

This window has been pretty good, if you include Alvarez, although technically he was last winter window.
