The site hosts are having to move us to another server due to the company we use being bought out and making changes

Therefore we will experience intermittent downtime from Friday across the weekend whilst we migrate to a new server.

Whilst I am here, does anyone on the site have phpbb skills/knowledge? The site is in dire need of an upgrade and we don't have the services of Maineroadmemories any more who was brilliant in helping us a few years ago.

Cheers gents, I spoke to king kev a while ago and he did mention we will need to have a whip around soon. We have been self sustainable for ages now. I will get an update from him at some point soon to know when the well is dry.

I have no applicable skills and the new house is bleeding me dry. But of course I'll chip in when/if needed.

Unfortunately no computer skills , But I will chip in just let me know how and when .

We're good to go, just waiting to speak with the guys that host the site now so we can get ready to upgrade it all. It can stay hosted where it is now, or we can do it, either way a nice shiny new forum.
