Reports Walker is gonna miss the WC, so looks like he will be out a long time.

Fuck.

Pep seems less pessimistic
However, the boss also confirmed that full-back Kyle Walker faced a spell on the side-lines due to the abdominal injury that forced him off in the derby.
Asked how long the England international would be out, Guardiola said: “A while. I don’t know exactly but weeks.
“(It’s) Abdominal. It will be for a while.”
Pressed whether there was a potential worry about whether Walker could be a doubt for the World Cip finals, the boss added: “I don’t know. I can’t say anything else.
“Kyle will be a little bit out. Hopefully he can get it of course like Kalvin (Phillips), I know how important the World Cup is.”

Good. He was injured for a few games for us and then fucked off to play two games for England. Deserves it.

Pedro Porro won’t be coming back JC. He dug out Pep the other year.

City's manager did not appear to take kindly to the comment, wildly exaggerating the number of players the club have on loan when he was asked about the right-back ahead of the Champions League last-16 first leg.

"I know him perfectly but we have 250 loan players and I cannot speak with them all," Guardiola said. "I'm happy it’s going well and of course I know him. I saw many games and sometimes he played and sometimes he doesn’t."

Not sure that constitutes an obstacle. Don't have any contacts at the club nowadays but do remember this lad being mentioned a couple of seasons back as a runner. We do have a 50% reduction on his release fee we can trigger in January.

That video of Haaland limping into hospital looks worrying.

We’ve got the buy back on Porro but also don’t we have some kid that was player of the tournament for the ACON that’s a RB as well? He’s on loan somewhere?

That’s the fella. Has good reports but I’ve never seen him play. We seem to have these gems that go out on loan and do really well in other counties.

Kabore has no intention of ever coming back to City. I saw a tweet of his to that effect a when he moved to Marseille.

Kyle Walker & Kalvin Phillips remain sidelined for club, but 'optimistic' about World Cup

If Phillips goes to the WC after playing next to fuck all for us I will be pissed off. And I’m sure it won’t go unnoticed by Pep.
