Isn’t Benzema a nonce? I’m sure there was a story a few years ago. Has it just been brushed under the carpet and this guy is out here now winning awards?!

God forbid that a city player could finish above a Liverpool player. All the shitbags did last year was Win two domestic trophies on penalties without scoring a single goal and finished second in everything else. We won the PL, the only true test of a great team over a season, playing fantastic football with Kev showing the way. It’s a con, and all the media are out sniping at City losing yesterday, it’s a game of football, we are always going to lose matches, it will change nothing on the grand scheme of things. All that I can glean from yesterday is that we played well, we’re cheated out of a goal and one awful mistake was made. They will be nowhere near us come the end of the season.

I’ve never heard of it either , But it will mean whatever we can make of it , Has to be great from a marketing point , I believe it’s already pissed off the fat slug and Madrid so off to a good start

I thought it was literally only the second of those things that counted: Most players (male + female) nominated for an award at the Ballon d'Or = Club of the Year. So you could win literally every trophy out there, pick up every domestic player and manager award, but if you only have a couple of nominations at Ballon d'Or, you won't be club of the year. Also, you could (theoretically) win Club of the Year without having a single male nominee for the Ballon, if your women's team was strong enough.
