Thought he had no chance of playing for the first team so soon according to Doug ?

Mischief aside , we have some real talent don’t we !

Why risk the likes of Silva KDB Laporte Foden etc?
This is a proper dead rubber and a brilliant opportunity to give minutes to the youngsters

I’d like to see Lewis. A proper RB instead of a fuckin CB lumped there.

I think Pep likes him and I reckon he will feature tonight.
Then again pep will probably have Dias there...

So many times Pep has said this sort of thing and they get half a game at best
I would like to see Rico Lewis and Cole Palmer because the first looked a bit uncertain last time he had a good run - he is very young! - and the 2nd still flatters to deceive. Very flash, initially some good goals last year, time to step up and decide if he fancies the Foden way or the highway I fancy!
Edit - and I'll gladly hold my hands up if he delivers tonight, bit parts are never easy

Mahrez has been very poor this season, I can't see Palmer being any worse.

Excellent. Harsh on Wilson-Esbrand, but why would Pep play an actual LB there when he can play a right-winger that’s had one season at LB.

Foden and Grealish midfield with Palmer down the left maybe?

Problem is, lots of youngsters played this afternoon. That's one of the disadvantages of the Youth League in the final games of the group stage.

Unused sub this afternoon, so I think he's ineligible. Maybe someone else can confirm?

Gomez has to deliver after the last debacle. Could be last chance saloon, then off to Burnley
