Foden has been overhyped by our fan base as this world class player. He’s a player with a lot of talent but he’s had more bad games than good this season.

He's being forced wide to accommodate gundogan every game to try and get him to re sign (same as sterling) and gundogan was a sheer joke today. Fuck him off and get bern back central

Have to agree with that now. Dias has dropped off a cliff. Stones is absolutely useless, add to that he’s made of glass. Akanji looks alright but so did Dias when he first came. Ake is and always will be a backup for us.

The tinkering with centre backs doesn't help. Playing bernie out of position doesn't help. Alverez and Grealish on form benched, why?
Cancelo on right, Ake on left until Walker returns. Laporte and Dias should be our regular centre backs to establish a solid partnership otherwise kiss the title goodbye.
Gundo should be played sparingly.

I have a nagging suspicion his career will end up being a case of wasted talent. He will do well but won’t hit the heights that we think/hope he will.

Not dissimilar to how Gazzas career panned out. He just doesn’t seem to run games the way a truly world class player like KDB does, often enough. And as you say, he has more poor games where he influences nothing than a supposed world class player should.

He will still have a decent career, don’t get me wrong, but a ballon d’or candidate he is not

He’s had one class game this season and that was against the Rags - where he was up for it. The rest of the time he’s seemed like he’s saving himself for this World Cup or just not got into games at all, which players like Mahrez and Grealish get huge amounts of stick for.

We seem to let Foden off because he’s “one of our own”

There is a huge difference in unpopular opinion and absolute fucking nonsense. As Nick pointed out, only Bernie and Laporte - with a shout out for Eddy can come out of today with their heads help up. Im assuming(?) You watched the game on the box and are missing a lot of what players are doing off the ball?
Must admit that I'm never sure with you if you are just constantly on a wind up but back on topic;
Play fucking recognised full backs
Keep the back four the fucking same
When you have options on the bench and you can see the way the game is going, make the fucking subs to change things in our favour
Haaland when not fit should not be on the pitch

Overall, a knee-jerk thread and reactions- too many people with eyes on world cup flights. Roll on Leeds

We are repeating the same mistakes like in the past and at some point they will come and bite us.
Most likely in the Champions League.
