I doubt Bayern will pay £60m in the summer so we could be stuck with him for some time. Unless we take a loss.

Read yesterday the reports that 70 mil is not final and they can negociate.
So we most likely end up with 15.

Standard for us.

Sporting Lisbon full-back Pedro Porro is in London for a medical before a move to Tottenham.

The Spain international, who can also play as a wing-back, will join on loan, but the deal includes an obligation to buy for 45m euros (£40m) this summer.

So we get fuck all this window from it. Why not just loan him ourselves?!

He’s a right back. We’ve got two already. We need a left back.

We’ve just lost a right back to Bayern. Could we not replace him?

We have a right winger as our backup option for LB. Would a right back not be a better back up option?

Anyone but Bayern, pretty sure we could have sent him anywhere as I guess we are paying half his wages. You can see it now, send him back at the end of the season and maybe offer 25 mill euros. I think this is we back Pep you can leave, right or wrong you can sort out a club we’ll look at it. Fucking Bayern I suppose it’s better than helping Barca again, just.

No, I'd rather play Ake and wait until the summer to get a proper left back. I'm sick of these gap fillers. I sense we're going to land a generational left back, not sure whether from academy or bought, after years of wait, typical City

I doubt this is about the money for City.
More about backing Pep, reasserting his authority and getting rid of a player at short notice who challenged it because he lost his place in the team.
Good riddance. Morale is more important than the cash in this instance.

I’m thinking we give Mendy a contract extension.

City trying to move things on by floating interest in Maddison. That would surely mean Silva going.

Maddison will be still be 26 this summer. Not a bad age, should be hitting his prime around now. Seems we’re obsessed with English players at the moment. If we got Bellingham and Maddison we’d have -

Walker
Stones
Phillips
Grealish
Foden
Bellingham
Maddison
Palmer
Carson
Lewis
Wilson-Esbrand
Harwood-Bellis

All that would/could be part of the first team squad.

Maddison for Silva is a downgrade.

He scores more and assists more.
His workrate is nowhere near as good but that would be down to Pep and his team to change.
Plus he wouldn't try and leave every year.

Sky in Italy are reporting Barcelona have made an offer to Fiorentina to sign one of Morocco’s World Cup stars, Sofyan Amrabat.

Barca have proposed an expensive loan of £3.5m (€4m) with an option to buy the midfielder for 40 mil.

What a joke of a club.

I'd take Maddison at the expense of Silva. As mentioned previously I think we've already had Bernardos best years and he basically isn't up for it like he used to be

That said, can't see it happening and keeping Bernardo isn't a bad thing
