Great comeback on Thursday
Let's see if we rock up following the second half or if we revert to the first half
Wolves undoubtedly will park the bus so we need our wingers to be on it like the second half v Spuds creating the space
Fancy a tightish game but one we will win
2-0 Alfie

I've noticed we seem to win you're less confident of a win. Never predict a confident win from now and on. You just don't know what's going to turn up with this team this season

My glass isn't even half empty! It's a quarter full and usually with piss
I'm very much a traditional City pessimist

Agree with much of the sentiment above and I certainly don't want to jinx it but I have a feeling we're going to turn on the style today.
Come on City - time for a title charge

Laporte comes in supposedly at LB. Not sure it’ll end up like that. Rodri De Bruyne and Gundogan in midfield. Mahrez Haaland and Grealish up front.

Injured or naughty step do we know?

Laporte LB?
Or are we going 3 at the back, Stones Akanji Laporte, with Rodders and Lewis sitting in front of them with Grealish and Mahrez giving width?

Presumably Wolves will look to target our left flank with Adama Traoré whenever they have the opportunity which probably won’t be often. Guessing three at the back with Stones in the middle and Rico pushed up.

Hes on the cunts step mate....I'm usually his biggest fan but his play recently has been one of doing 'sweet fuckall with the ball'.........he doesn't deserve to play.

It would be nice, if we played a settled back 4, even if just for two games in a row.

And to have Palmer ahead of him on the bench as well.
Foden must’ve really pissed Pep off in training lately. Maybe he is one of the players with poor body language that Pep has alluded to.
I’ve mentioned it before in one of the threads about Foden that I don’t think we’ve seen fully what he could do based on the potential he showed when he broke through. And this season he seems to be regressing further for whatever reason. Hope this is a wake up call for the lad and he starts to pull his tripe out again because he could be one of City’s all time greats
Of course he might just simply have picked up a knock in training

I lost hope when he failed to beat Milner even once, and we kept Grealish on the bench

As City look to further build on their midweek victory, they will do so without Phil Foden, who has been excluded from the Manchester City matchday squad that will challenge Julen Lopetegui’s Wolves this afternoon.
The official line from the club is that Phil Foden is ‘not fully fit’, and as such, will play no role in the Premier League clash against the struggling Midlands side. Foden’s last start for the club came in the 2-1 Manchester derby defeat at Old Trafford against Erik ten Hag’s United.
