We really shouldn't be worried by Munich, but you just know something daft is going to happen.

If we play Bayern the football team of 2023 rather than Bayern the football club with its history, then over two legs we will prevail. They aren't the team they were and the same goes for Madrid if we both go through

Imagine we reach the final and Pep decides to have another final tactical brainfart. The meltdown would be epic.

If we go for it, we'll beat anyone, no passing sideways unless we're 5 nil up

Unfortunately we won’t have to imagine it if we do get to the final, without falling foul of it before then

Absolutely nothing to be frightened of from any of the last eight in this competition . City are world beaters and we have got a Viking

Agreed, Bayern are not the team of previous years. They are going through changes . They have no style at the moment . Too many turnovers and players off form.

It says a lot about the Bundesliga when Union Berlin on a small budget , like Freiburg , can be dominating it.

I think we have a bit of leverage now. We were not fucked over against arguably the euro darlings of Franco's Fascists last season. Everyone on here will be thinking the same, play to our strengths with the shackles off and we win.

That could be fun- a really friendly bunch of fans.

Defeat the German champions, then the Spanish champions then the Italian champions in Italy.
No problem for the English champions :D

At least then it could call itself the champions league with a straight face, instead of the champions and also-ran's league.

I'd argue we're the bigger draw and bring more revenue than the munchens.

If you sincerely believe this, why watch? If we win, will it be because the ref has been instructed to help us out?

That RBL hand ball pen was almost unbelievably bad, wasn't it?

I fancy Chelsea to beat Madrid. They lost to Barca again last night. Domestically they’re crap.
