Yea I was there for that match it was rocking , sadly I don't get to many games now due to circumstances.

If we win and I think we will then I reckon we'll be lifting the trophy at the last home game against Chelsea with 2 games still to play.

Yep, but if they'd have beaten Southampton and both teams won every other game we'd have had to win on Wednesday.
Now, we only have to draw.

There's still a bit to go after Wednesday. I can see Newcastle beating them, then again we've a couple of tricky away games and considerable fixture congestion that arsenal don't have.

Since they dropped points to the dippers the title is ours to lose, their draws with Southampton & West Ham were bonuses giving us more of a cushion - as will a result on Wednesday, we just can't afford to lose that's all

For the first time since the Vincent Kompany derby header, I'm confident in us going out and showing we mean business. (Typical City is engrained in me, I can't shake it)

Genuinely think this is going to be a destroyer of a performance. Maybe not scoreline, but we're going to show we're the fucking daddies.

We've never been given the credit we deserve for the Pep years. Centurions, the only (ONLY) team in England in 100 whatever years of professional football to win every cup in English football in a season. Something is stirring in me saying we're going to win The Treble this year and finally take our place in rightful lauded history.

Up the fucking blues, let's smash these cunts, then smash Madrid then put those fucking rags back in their box at Wembley.

We've usually performed well in do-or-die games against title rivals. 1-0 against United in 2012, 2-1 at home to Liverpool in 2019, 2-2 against Liverpool last year. The only big loss I can think of is the 3-2 at Anfield in 2014, and even then we rallied and Liverpool crumbled. Still, there's always a first time for everything, and that includes losing a tight title race in the modern era.

I think our main area of concern is Laporte. He's barely been playing, he seems uncomfortable as an LCB in this system, and he's right up against Arsenal's best player. Still, when it comes to fundamentals, he is a good defender. As long as he doesn't do something stupid (which, unfortunately, happens on occasion), I think he can keep up with Saka. Martinelli is a fine player, but if Akanji and Stones keep to the standard they set against Bayern, he can be crowded out. Give him space, though, and he will sting us.

Gabriel Jesus will be a problem. He may not be the most clinical of players, but he has shown up in his share of big games, and he's an excellent off-ball player. CBs will have to be on point with their distribution (just think of what happened to Varane and Jesus in 2020), and there's a chance that Jesus will be ordered to drop on top of Rodri to stop him from dictating our buildup.

As good as Thomas Partey is defensively, he can be gotten at in possession. Put Bernardo and Grealish on top of him, don't let him carry the ball. If we can generate turnovers high up the pitch, put the ball in front of KDB and let him work his magic. If KDB shows up today, Arsenal will be hard pressed to stop us. If he doesn't, though, we may struggle to create anything. Our wingers don't have the penetration to find Haaland alone.

Arsenal's main concern is with their other CB. Whether they persist with Holding, or move White centrally, or even use Kiwior, they'll still not be as comfortable as they would have been with Saliba leading that back line, and they'll be forced to hope that someone plays out of their skin. Haaland is lethal when he smells weakness. If Arsenal's CBs show one ounce of trepidation, he'll go straight for the throat.

It will be a tough, tough game. Let's hope the breaks go our way.

Watching it in my local with a mate thats a gooner. It'll be quite tense on and off the pitch. Won't be much in it and i'm expecting fireworks and perhaps a VAR intervention that will not go our way. Usual big match thoughts i guess, so i tee off in a couple of hours to take my mind off the build up

Most of the pundits on talk sport are going City to win 3-1 I hope they don't jinx it with their predictions . I hate predictions with a passion you cant predict anything in this league .
