Well, after over 150 years there will be a Greater Manchester Derby FA Cup final . . . which ironically will be on the Derby Day at Epsom
Living in a Manyoo metropolis, many of them are delighted/excited/confident, for various reasons, that this has finally come to pass but how do you feel about it?
For me, I am gutted to be honest. Not because they might fluke a victory over us and gain another billion new fans around the world. Not because they might fluke a victory over us and potential gloat about stopping our bid to emulate 'their' treble, and not because we might trounce them 6-1 (although that would be nice)
I am gutted because I don't even want them to have the 'glory' of reaching the best and oldest Cup final in all the land and all the world . . . over to you

I quite like it that they need us to be relevant. It's gone from quadruple to ruining City's treble in just a few weeks.
Plus, we will have done pretty fucking good to be still in with a shot of a treble by then.

Devastated. Wanted to go but I don’t want to share a stadium, let alone a train with those twats. The trouble at the semi in 2011 was ridiculous. Kids and old men getting whacked. Bottles being thrown. Just not worth it.

Chinners !
It's a tough one. The kind of game that makes your stomach turn ... my pre Derby shits are bad enough as it is.
But it's been 150 years and it's NEVER happened.
There's a few dead blues would have loved to have witnessed it.
We're privileged, even with the jeopardy.
PS on the whole mixing with their fans - my last Derby was the rashford debut Derby goal and I said I'd never go again.
Totally understand not wanting to bring kids to it ffs

I was there in 2011 for the semi. Took my dad as his 70th birthday pressie. We bought tickets in Ireland as a package deal with hotel. Ended up in the mid tier in the Utd end, thankfully with about 20 other City fans. After the match, we had coins thrown at us for 20 mins, so spent ages trying to shield my dad. and then we had to exit with the scum. Hid our colors but the behaviour was shocking. They were pelting anyone wearing blue with coins with the cops watching. It was the first time I saw real hatred up close like that.
Great memories with Yaya’s goal, and the wall of sound of City cheers hitting us a few seconds later, but won’t be going this time.

My local will be full of club shirt wearing never been to the swamp fuckers so will be there at wembley. Will be going on coach - same as the semi. It will be puré evil and I can understand people not wanting to go but having the chance to embarass the cunts in a final cannot be missed

Not the opponent I wanted, would have preferred Brighton.
There's just going to be too much riding on this, just way too much shit surrounding the game. And as we know the best team don't always win finals.

Our triumph will be all the sweeter for their further humiliation.

Saw a guy that must have been in his 70’s walking with his grandkid in City colours and he got punched from behind. A guy walking in front of his two younger lads also got punched with the rags not knowing he was with his lads, who then filled in the rag twats.
We had bottles thrown at us getting on the coach and a lighter flew passed my head and hit the window behind me.
I imagine if they lose it will be horrendous.

If and when they lose, they will have all fucked off same as the game at ours where at least 1500 must have gone at HT No way are they going to stick around to watch us lift and parade the trophy

They’ll stick around to kick off though mate. No doubt that if they get humiliated they’ll be waiting outside. The coaches can’t go until everyone is back so they’ll just be stood around waiting. I absolutely despise them.

Same experience as you. Been spat on, glass bottles thrown etc. on Wembley way. Police did fuck all.
My dad got hit from behind after the semi the year we won it (I was in Vegas). He's not soft but it would've been obvious he was not there for mither.
They're bad losers and shit fans. Will ruin it. I don't really fancy being pelted with bottles of piss or whatever.

Alright, Elon.
Hope you can get the bikini models to leave you alone for long enough to watch the game.

Mase is spot on it will be full on. You have to-do what’s best for you. Especially if you have kids.
I have to be at the game, and I had the misfortune to be surrounded on a train back to High Wycombe with the wankers who took the piss. Wankers in black. If your smart and with timings arriving and exiting Wembley the wankers can be navigated, I’m contradicting myself I know as I was on the wrong train platform an hour after the game when the c7nts came.
