Adding to the sentiment that it is also now ten years since our neighbours last won the PL. Funny, not seen that written or discussed in the media

Will very likely go down as the most iconic goal ever.

And a lot of the allure and prestige and the riches of the PL are of a direct consequence of that goal
When broadcasting revenues were renegotiated later that summer the sums involved were far higher and continue to rise. This is largely attributed to the drama that unfolded that day

Very rare that I’d remember exactly where I was when a big event happens in life , but I remember exactly where I was and who I was with when that agüero goal went in.
Best footballing day I’ve ever experienced , or likely to do ever again .

Dzeko’s goal in the Milan derby CL semi final reminded me of Aguero day. I hardly reacted when he scored our second, I thought it was too late to make any difference.

Unforgettable moment in life. From despair to euphoria.

Still remember being that pissed that I puked once I’d climbed back into the stadium (wish there was video footage of me climbing over the second level of the circular turnstiles). And thanks to the pitch invasion I got back to my seat just in time for them to bring the trophy out.
I remember the bollocking my mum gave me for leaving, as I saw her and my dad coming out of Mary D’s.
What a fuckin day!

Most intense day of my life. Bigger than getting married, bigger than my kids being born. So so low to so so high.

A bit too close for comfort mate.
It was great fun, but I think I'd die happy with the two photo finishes we had. Would rather not go through another one.
And certainly not this year, being at the brentford game

Not for me. Not even close. The circumstances around the Aguero moment were unique. Almost impossible for anyone to replicate. For it to have been so long since our last one, to have beaten the rags on the run in. For them to have had that counter at their place. Even if Spurs beat Arsenal in the last game of the season to beat them to the title it’s hard to see how it matches the Aguero moment. I think the Gillingham playoff match was the next closest game to 2012.

I’ve gotta say Gillingham ‘99 was better for me just because I was a kid, I hadn’t see anything but two relegations and it was the first time I’d enjoyed City winning something. The way it happened made it almost seem like a dream. From seeing people walk out on 90 minutes and hearing my mum shouting we’d still win, to the guy next to us throwing me in the air when Dickov scored. Seeing Weaver run the pitch waving all the other players to chase him. Filling up just thinking about it.
