It is an interesting read.

Nevertheless you have to ask, HTF does it get so bad that you need to involve Laywers ?? Rip off merchants . all Lawyers are a rip off

The perpetrators of FFP need to be brought before a court of law, What they did was completely against Company Laws and Free Markets.

Has it got 'so bad' or is it just that we've reached a level where what's at stake financially is often has tens if not hundreds of millions of quid at stake? Just shows the power of the game, that sports participants need the same legal support as any other big corporation or CEO earning tens of millions of quid a year.

Totally agree re FFP - it can't be too simple, or someone would have done it already and I guess that has a lot to do with the fact that the Premier League and UEFA are by invitation and thus everyone agrees to the membership rules. But I can see a situation where the likes of City, Chelsea, Newcastle perhaps gang up to challenge and split the costs.

I think the 'ganging up' idea is something that may be coming although with the yanks now in charge at chelsea, they may want to side with the old guard and thay may leave us alone with Newcastle. I posted earlier abiut Gill- he is a fucking snake who is soley doing the bidding for the red shites. We need to watch this cunt

Never underestimate the power of the Law and lawyers. time to step up to the plate Lord Pannick.

" Uefa and Fifa rules banning clubs joining breakaway competitions like the European Super League are unlawful, the European Court of Justice has ruled. "

What next FFP ?

Perfect result for us. Prem want to continue these nonsense charges we threaten to move to ESL.

Will we be getting the fine back that we paid?

Nail on the head mate - fine us and we will help spearhead the super league .
I’m tired of the fucking corruption we have with the premier league and PIGMOL and it’s time to say good bye !

Careful what you wish for - remember that FFP, the (overturned) UEFA ban, 115 PL Charges & the Super League are all 100% driven by the US Redshirt Cartel who btw also want us exterminated. Real, Barca, Inter etc now screaming support as they disappear down the financial plughole along the with Rags & Dippers.

The British Government is due to present a Bill which runs completely counter to this ruling and post Brexit no appeal possible to the European Court of Justice. Goodness knows where this all ends up.

The power would be with the new Regulator. Reminder City supported the idea of an independent Regulator. I wonder what would happen if the Super League simply supplanted the UEFA Champions League and didn’t threaten domestic Leagues. On the other hand a deal between A22 and UEFA can’t be ruled out. This is what may happen between the PGA Tour and the Saudi Investment Fund.

As for A22 clearly Real Madrid and Barcelona support the concept. Who else? PSG? AC and Inter? A22 suggesting free streaming for all fans of all their matches with advertisers paying the Bills.

Here is the A22 current proposal. It appears to be aimed at replacing the Champions League, not replacing National Leagues.

I wouldn’t cry about that either. UEFA tried to do us.

this and other recent discussion about the Super League is on the wrong thread - I've created another for the ECJ judgement - obviously you chaps please yourselves where you post but I do ask myself what is the point of creating topics if they are simply ignored.

You’re spitting your dummy out because people aren’t using a thread you put up an hour after Z had already posted the same thing in this one.

I don’t think it’s me thats the issue.

'dummy' - most apposite, every forum should have one.
