Just finished watching my recording of the game. One of the most one-sided one goal wins I've ever seen. We fucking owned them. After the goal at 14 seconds i don't think United ever really believed in it. Not even after the 1-1. I mean, did they even seriously push for it at the end?

Have they?!

Seriously. This has to be one of the most blatant cheating I saw in a derby. I counted four huge decisions going their way, two penalties that they didn't check, one bent spot kick for them and Casemiro.

I think we were lucky that happened before the half time and not in the second half like it happened in the league and Pep had time to react and talk to them.

I think it was pure stupidity to pull this off in a final like this, in London. I am sure all our boys and girls in the stands felt the same anger, imagine if the cheating rags would have won it, imagine what could have been.
Stupid, but they do not care.

Might be in the heat of the moment, but this might be one of the most important wins in our history as a club. We won in spite of being cheated in the best stadium in the world.

Absolutely this and eloquently put. Just buzzing after all the shit that was thrown against us.

They get one back due to a wrongful var decision. We go into the break 1 - 1 having should have had a pen ourselves. Gundog saves the day just after half time and it's a nervous last ten minutes. Roll on next weekend!!!!!

UP THE CITY!!!!

Lets not get hung up on it. The law says that was a penalty. The law is an ass

Stop defending it John. Maybe the law does say that, but had it been the other way round VAR wouldn't even have looked at it. You know that
The law also says that rag tackle on KDB was a penalty, but that wasn't given.
I'm sick of the rags being given dodgy decisions when they need them, it's been going on since I can remember, if they weren't they'd be in mid table obscurity.

Indeed, that's what Kev does. He should have won a penalty too.

Nobody can say it was a definitive penalty because of the subjective way the laws are interpreted. They are done that way for a reason. Anybody with a brain can see that. Getting PIGMOL bang to rights is like nailing jelly to the ceiling.

You're spot on with that assessment. I'm heartily sick of the favouritism they are shown. And it's been happening as long as I can remember.

Drink on board, so apologies. Roy Keane is a wanker of the highest order. His assault on Haaland was a fucking crime and now he claims it was a penalty by Grealish. An appalling human being.

Ok, it was a penalty, let's say that.
But if so, Wank Bissakas also was.

Remember, like Notts mentioned here in the thread, they didn't even show the replay. Fantastic how the camera angles disappear in moments like this.

Beating United always brings that extra edge, beating them in a Cup Final really does bring deep joy.

The really worrying and sinister aspect of this is how much control the broadcasters actually have over the officiating. If it isn’t repeated and shown again then there’s nothing untoward to see, move along.

We won today and for the last decade against this. Makes it all the more sweeter even if it isn’t right.

And the fucking media have the temerity to say we are cheaters. Makes my piss boil

Rag fan arrested for wearing a “97 not enough” shirt at the final. BBC refusing to report it’s a Rag fan, but they’ll hide a well known nonce among their payroll for years.
