Very surprised if we aren't lifting another pot on Saturday night and stocking up on brasso at B&Q on Monday

Me too

I hear City fans are complaining about being shuttled out to the stadium up to 7 hours early.

You have to remember Turks fill their stadia about 8 hours before a big match. They just don't understand our culture of getting pissed until the last possible moment, then rushing into the stadium and breaking your neck for a pee every 10 minutes.

Ignoramuses :D

Not much came out of the Oress Conference. Dias and Kevin were there. The players now go to open training so we’ll see whether everyone’s fit presumably.

Edin is 37 , he might be allowed a consolation shot at goal.

the semi final Derby in Milan highlighted the fact that neither could string more than three passes together without losing the ball

I’m more nervous than usually because -

1. I just want this monkey off our backs. As soon as we win it I couldn’t careless if we never win it again

2. I’d like my dad to see us win the CL before he dies. His health isn’t great and he was the one who got me into City, taking me to Maine Road when I was a kid. Would be amazing for him to see us win it.

Walker back in training so looks like everyone’s fit. I’d be amazed if it wasnt the Wembley side with Ederson in goal. Pep expecting a cagey match. We need to take our chances. There won’t be many. Also be vigilant at the back. Pep stressing we aren’t losing at 0-0. Seems Juanma Lillo will be on the bench as supposedly will Sergio!

Cheers for the info on Lillo and Serg.

We need Haaland to grow a pair tomorrow. Terrible both legs against Madrid, missed a pen against Bayern, was anonymous against rags on the whole. He needs to live up to his reputation for these big matches.

Actually I may have over read it. They’re on the bench for the training. I think Lillo was actually on the bench for the semi final home leg though wasn’t he?

Blues all over Istanbul.
Funny for a club that has no fans.

They are saying they will have a public viewing for our fans in the UEFA Village, while Inter will be in Taksim. Anyone can confirm?

Sergio was at training in Istanbul today, nice to know he still feels like part of the family.

Seeing vids of Sergio at training. Don't know why but all the fear has gone from me. We're going to win this fucker and he will finally get his hands on that trophy.

I tried to play it cool before our last Champions League final.

Forget QPR 2012, forget Gillingham 99 or that semifinal against United in 2010. This is it. We will never get this close to a treble again. We may not get this close to a Champions League again. We could be another Valencia or Atletico Madrid, twice bitten, forever shy.

We just didn't turn up two years ago in Porto. Yes, Guardiola made that infamous tactical blunder, but none of those players bar Walker performed at anywhere near their normal level. The occasion got to them. We can't let that happen again. It's on Pep and that leadership group of Dias, De Bruyne, and Gundogan to make sure the others keep up their intensity levels.

City need to come out of the tunnel swinging. That Madrid second leg was won in the first ten minutes. From the first whistle we went for the throat, penned Madrid into their own third, and cut them apart. We need to do that again. We cannot let Inter settle into the game. The longer it goes on without us scoring, the more confident they get.

One more win. Just one more.
