Sergio Gomes bought Palmer down and Cole then
Scores with a massive deflection.
Then it kicks off massively yellow cards fly and 2 reds for coaches, one of theirs and Ashley Cole for England

Gomez looked to be pissed off with Palmer so not sure what he did or said celebrating in front of the Spanish bench

They keep referring to him as a Burnley player now. Has the deal gone through?

Appears it’s a done deal. Though it would be hoped we’ve a decent sell on as this boy will replace Pickford as the men’s team goalkeeper sooner rather than later. And maybe we’ve a buy back in there as well as I understand he isn’t angling for a move because he has fallen out with us, just he wants regular first team football which we can’t offer at the present

Fairly sure there is a very favourable buy back, the lad needs to spread his wings and have playing time. Who better to look after him than Kaptain K, hopefully the two can grow together before coming back to the mother ship.

I’ve read that the buy-back is £35m (sale price of £19m) with a 20% sell-on clause. None of this confirmed officially, of course. Also read that Trafford said in an interview that he had two key ambitions - to play for England and for City. Hopefully he’ll do both.

Can somebody explain to me how exactly Spain got a penalty? I can't see a foul anywhere. The commentators didn't question it.

Trafford hasn’t gone to Burnley yet. He’s still a City player, no matter what these bitter cunts commentating tell people
Trafford, who is set to join Burnley from Manchester City in a deal that could be worth up to £19m, kept out Abel Ruiz's low spot-kick in the 99th minute after a lengthy VAR check.
Don’t sell. Loan for two years.

Stupid to develop these players and not loan them but sell them with a sell on more than double what we sold them for. Pointless.
