Foden is on the bench so not injured. I can only assume Alvarez has shown better in pre season matches and in training than Foden. Ironic that we’ve solved our left back problem but neither possible option available so Akanji it is vs Saka. Walker vs Martinelli.

Akanji is either solid or a total fuck up. Sometimes both in the same game. We shall see what we get today.
