Started this. A few points -

- the fact Rodri and/or Dias aren’t regular captains for City is pathetic. Pep needs to grow up and pick those two and not leave it to the players to vote for mates. Rodri and Dias giving all the passionate talks in the dressing room

- anyone that think Rico isn’t strong enough of too soft needs their heads checking. Watch this. You’ll see he would batter fuck out of all of you at the same time

- Jack is thick as fuck but bloody gorgeous

- Would like to see Haaland getting back to smiling again, like he is on this

- Gundo was fuckin mental to leave. He was adored by Pep and the team

- we miss Mahrez as well

Cancelo was playing class early last season, whatever happened I bet he wishes it didn’t.

He also comes across as a likeable character with the mascots.

As a midfielder he would have been better than Nunes

True.

I actually forgot how good he was at the start of last season. His ball for Haaland against Dortmund for “that” goal!
After Anfield and his mistake, I don’t know what happened behind the scenes but it was a bit of a shame.

And that great ball which somehow Bernardo converted at the far post at Old Trafford.

Yeah class that. Also played with a fever against Dortmund. Sat in the changing rooms shivering.

On the other hand I went to a home match with Spurs ( lost to a last minute Harry Kane goal). Cancelo was hitting a lot of lazy outside of the foot passes which gave away possession. Then there was his defending. When you see the great atmosphere among the players in the documentary you can see why Pep was not going to allow any player to undermine that.

He also gave away the penalty against Fulham and got a red. Proper jekyll and hyde stuff.

When we lost to Southampton in the cup Pep really impressed me. First thing he did was ask the players if it’s normal to play like that? “To show that when all these fans travel down and they don’t have any money and you play like that”. I think sometimes he gets us totally

Mahrez as well. Fuck me I didn’t realise what he actually brought. This spurs game that he turned around - we really miss him this season.

Mahrez is a massive miss for us.

Certainly this season, Doku and Nunes are not in the same league as Gundogan and Mahrez. And I’m not convinced Nunes ever will be. Doku, I like the cut of his jib and I think he will improve

I think Doku will be fine, like you say.

I dare say Palmer would have provided that cutting in from the left and causing havoc with defenders had he stayed.

Yep, it would seem so given the minutes he had early doors in the season.

Watched twenty minutes of it just before KO and will save the rest as a binge over the weekend.

If PeP moves Foden one more time from the position he excels in then he deserves NOTHING this season.

Ive been banging this drum all fucking season - and I still want us to cash in on KDB this summer as Foden ALWAYS suffers when he has to accommodate KDB in the side.

Foden is the present and future and he deserves to be first choice every single time - KDB has to used as an impact sub IMO.

Im not sure it was worth the wait personally, last episode is great but i expected more behind the scenes stuff. Most of it were clips seen throughout the season already with the lads just commenting on them.

Who were the two broadcasters they used for it? The woman and the man(not henry winter)?

I did wonder who the woman was. I think she said she was Spanish.

Would have been nice to have Alistair Mann doing some of that - a local guy that’s been doing City end of season videos/dvds for as long as I can remember

On the FA Cup final episode. The decisions for the rags in that game prove beyond doubt there’s corruption going on. Utterly disgraceful

I've watched the first 4 episodes and it's OK. Nothing to be getting excited about so far.

Just in the last episode - totally ruined the whole series by playing the United winner in ‘99 against Bayern.

Who the fuck signed that off?! Why?!
