He’s so bloody raw

First half with him on the right and doing that “trick” was a bit of a struggle to watch. When he moved to the left he seemed a bit better as it looks like his close control isn’t great at the moment, so cutting in right from the left was better than him running the ball out of play on the right.

It’ll be interesting to see what Pep does with him and if he can improve that control of the ball. Good luck to the lad!

I think that can be a huge, huge advantage.
Imagine being young and you are on the hands of the best manager in the world in the past 20 years and so.
He is so lucky, I hope his mind will be into that.

Both are important , depending on who we play.
Doku is far and away a better goal threat then Grealish will ever be but he loses the ball and JG doesn't.

Having watched Foden yesterday there was one fan on here who whinged that he lost the ball a couple of times...if that fan wants another Grealish on the pitch, who just holds the ball up, then fine but I want to see a goal threat from Foden ALL the time - Fodens skill is outrageous, the way he controls the ball is a joy to watch and allowing him to express himself is one of the main reasons we have won 4 out of 4 with a 9 goal difference to add.

Doky / Grealish - id chop and change them depending on who we play against.

I see some have written him off already, which of course is just ridiculous.
He hasn't even had one training session with Pep.

Phil was far the best player on the pitch.....AGAIN!!
If it wasn't for Erlings hatrick he would have easily have been MOTM once more.
For me, I don't care who is rested/dropped.... Foden must start every match

It’s where he’s played. When Walker plays high up. Foden plays inside. Much more dangerous there. Sometimes he runs into traffic and loses the ball. My only criticism.

KDB loses the ball many times during a match but we don't tell him to change his play...same goes with Foden , you allow those kind of match winning players to play 'their' game and we should accept the odd mistake.

Was very surprised to see him play, so soon. He was needed though and Pep must see him as a very important part of the season going forward.

Pep wants to be competitive in every game he plays, is he after all 4 or just realises the likes of Doku and Nunes are needed to get that record 4th on the spin?

He has got some good attributes and he definitely worked a lot harder defensively than I expected him to, which was really good to see.

Good signs but is a work in progress and he needs to learn “the system”.
