Recruitment has been excellent last few years, it’s set us apart from our rivals. But in fairness, the last few years we’ve had a settled side where we’re able to focus on upgrades. Back in the Bony days it was just getting bodies in, at inflated prices. We’re in the stratosphere now compared to wher we were then

Txiki joined us in 2012. Bony joined us in 2015.

BBC reporting this at £55m. I thought it was £47.3m?!

Come on, you know bbc rules. Add on everything you can to City reports including the taxi fee and the coffee

Negredo was class till he got a shoulder injury in a meaningless 2nd leg League Cup semi when we were 5 or 6 up from the 1st leg. Never the same again, not sure if he even scored for us again. Having had a bad shoulder injury myself, it puts all sorts of doubts in your head about physicality and you try to protect it rather than just making the challenge.

Neto has been brilliant this season, would have been a better signing than doku for us but his injury record is horrendous. If he stays injury free he will be the next big mover.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I disagree completely.

I think doku is a fantastic signing.

Probably motm today, despite his fuck up first half. Which btw should have been defended. The fact he was the last line of defence on that side was the problem.

Anyway. Count on Doku

Doku's lack of control lead to the goal but I think pinning the blame all on him when gvardiol not only got skinned way too easily then seemed to jog back half arsed (when Doku bust a gut to try and get back and atone) should be noted.

I don't know a thing about Nunes. Didn't really excite me when he came on. Felt like he was neat and tidy. That's about it.

don't think Doku, Josko or Nunes deserve that downbeat assessment - all three played a big part in today's win against a difficult opponent.

I blame our Father Dias at the back for their goal. Failed to organise the defenders.

Saw that "Croats out to Dinner" thing on our site and Gvardiol seems really smart, not your typical braindead footballer and he said that he needs 6-7 months to implement all of what Pep's is feeding him.

So all of them get a semi free pass this year from my part.
