Is it true the qtr finals are being played while we are in distant climes competing for the FIFA World Club Champions trophy?

Wretched draw. I presume Pep will have to play a strong side.

When we beat them we'll be playing our EDS in the next round.

Is it now 13-14 home ties on the spin in domestic cups?

The odds must be phenomenal

Play the kids. It's one competition we could do without as much as I want to win them all

We don't really have kids anymore like we might have had in the past. It'll be 11 from our main squad but quite likely Bobb or McAtee , Gomez and maybe even Phillps getting a run out

Typical, just our luck, the Geordies will probably have new manager syndrome by then.

Presuming it´s 13 on a row that would give you 8192 to 1. If it´s 14 you get 16 384 to 1.

Newcastle, granted a decent side and good at home, are punching way above their weight. They lack real quality when it matters. It could have been worse.

EDS or whatever they call it these days? I'm sure one or two gems will evolve this season?

Anyway, my point, the likes of Rodders, Haaland, Dias all should be rested.

They cocked the draw up. We should have drawn Norwich. Some idiot doesn’t know his alphabet.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.
