Thoughts on the window?
Pretty decent for my money

Zac Steffan end up staying? He must have been very bad for Boro last season!!!

I’d only add keeping Walker and Bernardo. Gvardiol and Kovacic already look the part. Hopefully Doku and Nunes will too. Kevin’s long term injury was a nasty blow and the Club have reacted swiftly. Bad luck with the Paqueta situation but couldn’t be helped.

Agreed. Still don't see the fuss around Paqueta but the option remains in January if the betting issues clear up as I think we are still light on creativity but in signing Nunes we can take some of the heat off Rodders which is a great for us and him and also have the option of moving Rodders up the pitch into Gundo's role for the games against park the bus teams

Gundo says in interview with the Athletic he left because Club started contract negotiations too late and that he never had a chance to tell Pep his decision face to face. I rather bought the argument he was always going to leave because he wanted a change of scene and the treble was the perfect time to leave. Oh well whatever it’s done now.

Looks a good window to me. Would have liked Gundo to stay but Kova has got right in for me so far. Not got the same ability to arrive in the box as Gundo, but perhaps a better range of vertical passing, so it’s a good trade.
Doku looks exciting but raw. Perfect player for Pep to mound.
Gvdiol looks like a solid defender but not quite as sharp with the ball, in a similar way Diaz does to be fair. Not bad with the ball, just not the ball retention monsters we’ve become used to. If his passing improves at all he’ll be a hell of a player for us.
Nunes I’ll reserve judgement until he’s on the pitch, but looks a good bit of business.
On the outs I think we robbed Chelsea blind for Palmer, mahrez and Laporte had probably reached their natural ends with us despite both still being class and we kept Walker and Bernardo.
Overall solid business and that’s without all the smaller amounts we got on top. World class recruitment.

Agree with that Mase. I would add his time at Farca playing at a relic of a stadium not the camp Spotify must have been overlooked. Thanks for the memories Gundo, but please spare us the Bullshit….

Walker finally signs an extension to 2026. He exploited the situation very well. Personally I’d rather Dias was Captain.

Agree re dias being captain and walker using the situation. But I imagine it was more about pep dropping him
