A bit harsh on the new guy, but I sort of agree. Or Alvarez on the wing and Foden more centrally.

Need to sort out our middle, we don’t seem to have a midfield and that’s where Fulham are overloading.

Oliver looked embarrassed but it wasn’t his call, the VAR made the decision. Coming back to Akanji, I still don’t see what Pep sees in him, a decent defender but just a back up for me.

I’m surprised he started, and without any guidance from Pep, he’ll just play his own game.

Maybe a different footballer in the 2nd.

Shouldn’t the ref being looking at that rather than leaving it to the VAR?

Akanji should be our last choice defender now. We got him for a great price and he had a good run last year. But he finished last season poorly and that’s continued this season.

I've been very happy with Kova so far, but we're also back to the double pivot from a few years ago. Never really worked against well organized teams. We're a man short further up the pitch.

I expect they wanted to throw Doku into the mix before the dreaded internacional break, tough though it is

4 in 4 games. And people say he's not hitting the heights. Honest to god, those few years Messi and Cristiano had where they went goal per game have completely skewed people's opinions of football. Before them, 1 in 3 was top class. 1 in 2 was world class. Now every cunt thinks a top player should score every game. Pure madness.

Finally the constant shoving is penalised, yellow card too and he would be off.
