Much better second half against a difficult Fulham side.

Another hattrick for the Beast.

Lovely pass from Gomez for the 5th.

We might not be at our impervious best right now.

Still 5 wins on the bounce for a side that are notoriously slow starters. Doesn't bode well for the rest this season. We couldn't ask for more going in to the International Break top of the League.

Happy Days..

Horrible first half, but clicked a bit better after the break. Why we felt the need to fuck around with the defence is beyond me. Haaland remains a fucking nuisance the hat trick goal was taken so well with credit to Gomez for the assist. Four games played, four games won. Keep the injured away from international break and we look forward to visiting the happy hammers

To be fair the plan is always to grind down the opposition, so we have a lot of poor first halves.

When we score from the off it's a bonus

But but but Arsenal won't lose a lead now they got Rice.

I don't think they accounted for they might never have a lead this season

I gave Rico credit for Oscar’s bit of magic. Just seen the replay.

Been driving through Spain all day, just got in Lerma, seen result, looks good, how was the overall performance? Also did Doku
look good?

He's got potential, but has a lot to learn to be a Pep player. Gives the ball away far too easily.

Gotta be happy with a perfect start but it does feel like we’ve done a 180and now playing more like Stoke.

Bit random Beefy. Who's taking the long throws?

Just got back from the game (thanks again Dubciteh) and first match for my little girl. Thought 5 years old might be too young but she’s hooked :) She didn’t want to leave and loved every minute of it. Since we’ve got home she’s just been watching the highlights

Not stopped going on about Haaland. Glad my dad got to be with her at a game as well.

Brilliant day!

On the game, I thought the first half was some of the worst football we’ve played for a while. Players giving the ball away, some running around like headless chickens and a few defensive brain farts. Akanji seemed way off it!

Once he switched Foden we were miles better. Foden was great.

Doku is going to be testing! Very very raw, but nothing we didn’t know already. Let’s see what magic Pep can work on him.

Really good second half and I think that Ake goal knocked the stuffing out of Fulham. Some good football played by the blues.

All the subs were decent when they came on (even Phillips!) and we might have a decent winger with Gomez - let’s see!

A class moment from Oscar Bobb.

I was going to ask if anyone had that. Cheers

Heard Haaland’s interview after the game saying he agrees with Silva about our second being offside and he’d be mad if it happened to us.

A shame really, it was the perfect opportunity to bring up how we were done over against the Rags and a comment like - “Well we saw last season at OT where if a player doesn’t touch ball the refs will give the goal, so who knows what the rule is?”

Would have been perfect.

Fulham were robbed. It was the five goals which changed the match.
