That was never a penalty and therefore a yellow against Bazunu.

Southgate has picked Sancho almost as many time as Foden. Let that sink in. Sancho has not had one stand out game in almost 3 years at the RAGS. I was given this fact by my nephew on Saturday night. Maybe some suit at the FA needs to ask Southgate WTF.

Depends how you look at it. Since Foden made his England debut, Sancho has started 6 England games, Foden 16. Furthermore, Sancho has only made 1 England start since his debut for the Rags (away to Andorra in 2021).

True enough BiB, Sancho won 22 of his 23 England caps when he was a Dortmund player. My outrage at reading the above stat has diminished somewhat since becoming aware of this but I remain ever vigilant for all empirical evidence highlighting the unsuitability of the current England manager (not in short supply btw as witness Saturday's appalling selection and tactics.) The truth is that he has consistently shown himself incapable of intelligently using or in some cases even recognising the talented players at his disposal.

Dortmund want him back, maybe come January he will go back, don't see him getting any joy staying at rags.

Southgate should have been sacked after the Euro fiasco. Sick and tired of hearing his pseudo-psychology about the group of players “this group is the best” “what a strong group”. If slab head Maguire is getting a start the group is shite. I thought he would transition the U21 players but he seems to be doing the usual England Manager act of refusing to drop faithful old servants. I would be very interested in Pep’s hypothetical England selection, but him not getting the job!

He went off on 61 mins, hope he isn’t injured, mind you they were 5-0 up at the time.

9 out of our 14 international call ups still at risk - Haaland, Rodri, Doku, Akanji & Alvarez along with the three England lads today plus Ederson tomorrow. Ake, Dias, Bernardo & Gvardiol set to return unscathed & Kovacic unused (crocked? - hopefully not.)
