Id love to know why we stopped playing with a right winger this season? Its like we just ignore rhat side of the pitch and its up to walker to be our attacking threat there while been his usual defensive rock. Its madness. Why not have bobb hog the touchline one side and doku the other? We did it for last 5 mins but badly miss
Mahrez.

Also if anyone wants a reason why rodri should win balon dor last year, last two games are prime examples. The only player irreplaceable in our team. Everyone else can be replaced.

Least dippers and rags lost….

Good shout on Mahrez. It was games like these he got us a goal from nothing.

Kovacic had a very poor game , so too Dias , .

Even the cross for their second goal was deflected by Ake , any other time blocked.

Unless we are winning by a large margin, philips should not even get a look in .

Unless Nūnes got a knock first time he should not have been changed.

Foden is becoming a nice to have, disappears in the game.

Not just a one off defeat, we haven't played that well for a while. Back end of last season our performances tailed off once the league was one. Pep makes some strange decisions at times. Gvardiol has the physical presence and pace to have been included. Rico Lewis missing ? Nunes taken off? No service at all to Haaland, our build up play just too slow, gives all these teams time to organise and defend. Grealish should have been on earlier, and helped out Doku. Foden was missing for 70 minutes out on the right. When Phillips does come on - do not give him the ball, he is not a playmaker, he is a stopper.

Still surprised we had such a poor performance in us. Nobody gets a pass, maybe Eddie & Akanji - lack of fight was the worrying thing.

Ake was getting murdered by their winger, Gvardial should have come on. Worst Kova has played for us and Foden was shocking.. Bobb was the only plus for me

I think you summarized it very nicely. Without K, B and R unavailable , something like this was due to happen. Ake should have been subbed as he was clearly struggling against Neto. Gvardiol on in the middle and Akanji out on the left would have prevented the second goal.
Foden did nothing and should have been replaced by Grealish early in second half. Foden is a great player but frustratingly very inconsistent.

needs to up his game the lazy fucker.

Not based on just the Wolves game either,

Since the tail end of last season i have felt he has been living on Easy Street.

I think taking Nunes off was a mistake. He was ok, same as the rest of the squad.
The problem is we created nothing.

That miss in the start of the game and the goal were the only relevant moments, the rest side pasa after side pass. It counted also Pep wasn’t on the bench.

Arse will come for our throat next week from minute one.

Correct about the right wing, we did it against Newcastle at home first. Seems he's sacrificed attacking threat on the right to get another body (foden) central. Walker as good a right back there is is not Mahrez or silva from an attacking position.

Pep wouldn't say but I think Nunes was taken off to quieten the crowd down.

We need to grow a pair, if that's the case.
Generally some very poor performances yesterday.
Foden needs to up his game. It's ok saying he wants to play in the middle but he needs to take control of games.
For me he plays his best football out wide.

No mention that Huang should've been off on MOTD (shock).

Is it just me or should we not be defending much much better than we did for both their goals. Ake far too slow for their wingers but even after that we don't react to the second balls.

And Dias going to ground for challenges really fucks me off, stay on your feet on both occasions and it's a different story imo. although I'm no expert and there may be a reason he does it???.

I mean we should've had them dead and buried with the amount of possession / chances. We move on.

Kova is a great squad player and has his use in the squad, but he’s no way a first teamer for us. He barely got into Chelsea’s first team.

We shouldn’t be replacing someone like Gundo with a guy that only started 17 premier league games last season.

We’ve brought in squad players and we’re using them as first teamers

I never said he wasn't , my gripe is subbing him off for Phillips was fuckign stupid......leaving an 80 million pound defender on the bench instead.

Genius move !

We once lost at home to Boro without them having an attempt on target.
