***Arsenal v Treble Winners Official Match Thread***

Last PL game before the International break. Probably in the top 4/5 toughest fixtures, away at a direct rival for the title. Ridiculous really the recent record we have v Arsenal, winning the last 12 PL fixtures. Think today without Rodri will be a tough ask and it may be the game we don’t continue the winning run. Honestly would be happy with a draw. A win for Arsenal gives them belief in themselves which is never a good thing.

That said, we are good enough to win but we need to have a big upgrade on what we saw at Wolves last time out. The midfield needs to control the game better and Bernardo being available again will help in that regard. Haaland is due a goal as well

A tight game. Going 2-1 Haaland and Alvarez to just shade it for us

Arsenal will be more adventurous than most sides playing against us. If they play a high line with man to man marking there’s more chance of getting Haaland in behind their defence.

Surprised neither Doku or Grealish start

But very good side nonetheless

Agreed and we have decent options off the bench. Grealish if we want to control things or Doku if we want to counter attack.

I fail to understand why do we fuck so much with the captain armband when it's clear Father Ruben is the top dog in the dressing room.
Every game he talks with the players before the first whistle.

The Captaincy vote is like the Eurovisions. Stones will vote for Walker. Bernardo will vote for Dias and so on. Dias should be captain.
